Its been a long time since I've been on these pages...nice to be back. I've just finished a small benchtop merbau workbench with an end vise...am looking for advice on what sort of finish given it is merbau and has a tendency to leech tannins...Am thinking of a matt finish as it is a workbench after all, not furniture!
