    G'day all.

    My name is Daniel (or Dan if you prefer). I'm a longtime lurker and reader of these forums, and it's high past time I signed up and actually contributed where I can. I've spent much of my life mucking about in the shed, making the odd object out of timber and helping friends/family when extra muscle is needed.

    In the last year or so I've developed a strong interest in hand-tool woodwork, particularly as an antidote to my professional life, where I spend entirely too much time behind a computer screen.

    Looking forward to future interactions, sharing of ideas and the odd meandering discussion.

    There are a good number of members in country NSW plus lots more across the rest of the country & the world.....
    You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
    Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
