Default 1/4" shank router bits for Matchfit dovetail clamps

Can anyone recommend some 1//4" shank router bits for use with the Matchfit dovetail clamping system? Specifically, an alternative for their 1/2" shank relief router bit.

    Diablo have a 12.7mm x 12.7mm 1/4" bit DR22104 for the actual dovetails I need and Timbecon sell a CMT alternative 818.128.11.

But what should I use for the relief router bit alternative... or doesn't this matter too much e.g. I was thinking I could use a CMT 818.081.11 with a 8mm cutting diameter and 8 degree cutting angle as a first pass to take out some of the material prior to the final pass? Or maybe just a straight bit?

PS. I only have a dewalt cordless trim router with 1/4" shank atm .... how do you think I will go using this for now? Anybody using the MicroJig clamping/workbench system?? I like the idea of making my own benchtops/jigs without the need to purchase t-track.

Assuming the narrowest section of the required dovetail is at least 1/4" you could start with a few passes with a 1/4" straight bit before fitting the dovetail bit for the final cut. 3 passes with the straight bit, cutting deeper with each pass, will be much kinder to your router and bits and be safer as well. The dovetail bit needs to be of the configuration recommended by Microjig, which I believe is 1/2", 14 degree.
