framing walls with door opening
Hi Guys
What is the opening I should leave for doors and also double sliding doors when building the frame?
The doors will be the standard 815mm x 2020 mm doors
The double sliding doors I want to use will be the hidden in the wall types. Don't really know the actual size but want to end up with an opening of 1500mm when fully opened.
thanks in advance

Standard door sizes run at 2040*820 but whatever the size allow +60mm for width & 60mm in height (for carpet)
Double cavity pocket to get a 1500 opening ( 2/820 doors ) would be approx. 3100 opening but this varies between manuf. so you'll need to check. From memory the height is 2150. but once again . . . . .Peter Clarkson
