Hello from Wolvi (Rhymes with Bondi)
G'Day to everyone
The names' Charlie and I've been wood butchering for quite a few years now. My user name is an expression that I use in the workshop from time to time, mostly as a result of my own stupidity.
I am a Sculptor & Furniture Maker. Any of you who have been to the Maleny Wood Expo over the last couple of years may have met me already in the Main Pavillion under the name Crooked Timber.
Anyway, after 3 years or so of lurking I thought I'd best introduce myself and say it's nice to be here.
I have a question about a specific timber species so I'm off to that forum, maybe see you there.
Cheers

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Charlie",
There are a stack of members in Brisbane & across S.E. Queensland plus the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers crowie
