Millers Falls replacement parts?

Hi, I was gifted a Millers Falls 18v Cordless screwdriver (model CDD18SC2) but it is missing the battery charger. Ive googled everything I can think of to find replacement parts with no success. From what I have read online is that Millers Falls US are no longer operating or have been taken over by chinese products. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The battery technology should be marked on the batteries
if they are NiCd or NiMH you probably should just send the screw driver to land fill and the batteries to recycling.

if the batteries are Lion it is almost certainly worth trying to find a generic charger.


otherwise I think you will need to scour Gumtree and Australian eBay

Thanks for your advice ian, I checked my battery and its a NiCd I think i will sit the screwdriver on the back shelf for now and keep an eye out on Gumtree and eBay. Thanks again
