Plantation shutter hardware
Need some help if anyone can point me in the direction for some shutter hardware.
I’ve made a few sets of shutters in the past with great success and need a few more for the front of my house. I initially used the Rockler shutter kit, but I was never a fan of their control rod attachments pins. The Centre control rod sits limp and it’s easy to pull the pins out.
At the time there was a shutter mob close by who made diy versions and were more than happy to sell me their version of the control rod attachment which was much better. It consisted of a plastic knuckle that was either press fit both ends (much like a knee joint) or a pin for the shutter and a screw for the control rod.
Sadly they have since closed up shop and I am looking for another supplier.
If anyone has a source that they know of I’d appreciate the help, I don’t need a million but happy to buy a bulk lot for future projects.
Cheers
