    Default Polyurethane question

Ok...Hi everybody. I build drums as a hobby which is pretty much woodworking, but I've pretty much just started and the only wood drum I've done so far was tung oil.

Right now I'm using minwax gloss polyurethane (spray can). So my question is:
The can says to recoat within 2 hours, but after 1.5 hours, its still kind of tacky. So...how do I know when its dry enough to recoat???

    Thanks a ton,
    moos.

G'day Moos - If it's still tacky there is probably a problem with the spray or what you have under it. I suggest you contact Minwax.

    Cheers - Neil
