    Default Hi All

    Hi,
I usually present a problem because of my interest in perpetual motion.I know thy say it's impossible but I have been trying to recreate Johann Bessler's work; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johann_Bessler
As for the physics, even at besslerhweel.cm it seemed that no one knew how to calculate torque. And if anyone knows ho to calculate torque and work, it changes things.
At present I am trying to have my medical situation resolved. It does prevent me from working so while I live in Ky. I am in Tn.
I am going to be pursuing something simpler and wouldn't mind finding someone who might consider working with me. I know it's a bit unusual but then if it works it ill help me and if someone works with me, credit will be shared which would include a patent as co-inventors. The idea I am pursuing is an under water see-saw. Wood can be weighted so it is neutrally buoyant. And if an aquarium is used, it can have a wood frame work around it.

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "Jim".
There are quite a few members from North American and the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

PS - Sorry but you're talking above my pay grade on the physics...
I think that we have quite a few folk using woodwork to take the mind off health issues....
The shed is an enjoyable place to be creating and doing.

G'day mates and Thanks. It might be a week before I can start on my project but will see about posting some info about it ahead of time.

p.s., If you have a sense of humour ; since I am in the U.S. and have been to Perth (ported in Freemantle) before, there is this song for people who come from the land down under )
