G'day from WA
Hi all. New member here and completely new to wood turning, no equipment yet and very little knowledge so will be looking to educate and equip myself in 2017. Looking forward to picking everyone's brains and hopefully contributing to the site too. Cheers Steve

I recommend you google WA Woodturners, and find a club near you. I am a member of the Wandi Club, fantastic instructors on a tuesday night

You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
