    Default Chris from the Adelaide Hills

    Hi folks,

    I'm Chris and I'm not a woodworker or builder.

    I own a 100+ year old property in the Adelaide Hills that I am planning to renovate and extend, and would love to do at least some of the work myself.

    I have huge ambitions and spend all my time thinking about how to do stuff, but rarely pull the trigger on building any of these dreams because I am too scared of screwing things up. I tend to ridiculously over-engineer anything I do end up building because I want it to last for ever and be perfect. My projects hardly ever work as well as I'd hoped, leading to minor depressive episodes that prevent me from starting another one for a while...

    I'm only slightly joking

    There are a lot of members in and around Adelaide and across Sth Aust.....
    You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
    Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.

    I love the Adelaide Hills. A beautiful place I may end up retiring in, assuming I don't die first
