Hello from Makerspace and Co. in Marrickville

Hi everyone,

My name is Liam and i'm currently working with Makerspace & Co. in Marrickville Sydney and am setting up their timber facilities. We are a communal workshop where anyone can come and access making space, benches and access to tools,machines as well as lessons and much more.

At the moment we have a well set-up metal workshop, ceramic studio and co-working space and the next step is to set-up timber facilities. We have a pretty small budget so we're mainly looking at the second hand market for table saw, edge sander, extractors, sanders, bandsaw etc. So far we have pair of great Wadkin 12" thicknesses and planer which we acquired from Splinter Workshop in Sydney.
