D cell maglite.
Ok...this one has had me stumped most of the day...have a 3 d cell maglite. Went to use it last week and the batteries in it had leaked and blown up. Much cursing later got them out and cleaned it up.
Put it back together and no go. Shortcut to where... with a meter I have 4.5v across the bulb holder. Put a bulb in and nothing. Yep, tested the bulb in another torch, it lights up at 3v, and 6v, as do the other 3 I've tried.
The 4.5v goes on/off with the switch, so I know that works. !
