CANOE transport needed - Syd Airport - Elizabeth Bay in July

Hi all,

Trying to organise this from Tassie.....my latest Geodesic Airolite project needs transporting from the Qantas Freight depot at Syd airport to an address in Elizabeth Bay. Qantas don't/won't deliver, the new owner says he doesn't have the ability my only other option is to try the commercial couriers. However, I'd be much happier with someone that is an enthusiast and knows what kid gloves are....

She's 16ft long and has a beam of 36", less than 20kg. Will be packaged in plastic and bubble wrap. It will be in July sometime........and definitely a drink in it for someone.....

Anyone keen?????

Hi Peter,
I'm sure we can get a posse of Sydneysiders to help but the problem will be the legality of taking a long load into the centre of Sydney? I can do a bit of homework on hiring trailers and will let you know. Many years ago, I was involved in the sign business and this frequently involved outsized loads which were also fragile. We used Cope transport who specialise in computer moves and therefore know how to be gentle. Let me know if you would like me to do a bit of trailer homework?
