Owner builders insurance
Hi all,
I was trying to find someone to give me a quote for some concreting this morning and one guy asked me if I have insurance. As an owner builder, am I required to have an insurance policy for a contractor to perform work on my site? Should they they have their own public liability insurance for the work they perform? I was under the impression that builders had insurance for if they we unable to complete a job or if the workmanship becomes faulty it can be repaired by the policy.
Thanks for for your help.
