Nail size for Skirts and Arcs?
I've put off the skirts and arcs in my current project, but last night needed to fit a bit of architrave to allow me to install a blind in Bedroom 3 (or is it 4?). I used what nails I had, but they seemed a bit big, I think they were originally bought for flooring. That box is just about empty so it's time to visit the hardware and pick up some more.
What size nails would normally be used for putting up skirting and architrave? Recommendations for hand hammered and what would suit a C1 brad nail gun. Length and diam would be appreciated.
My C1 Brad nail gun is air powered, so I suspect the hammer will come in handy for small sections, while the nail gun will only be used when it's worth dragging the hose through the house and firing up the compressor.
Thanks in advance, I've had a bit of a search here and google and only found a couple of old threads here and a fair bit of non-specific info elsewhere.
