Cuting more than allowance from door to make it fit
Hello All,
My up coming project is to install bi-fold doors into an existing opening onto my rear deck.20160306_111626.jpg
I already have the doors which I purchased 4 years ago and they are very well acclimatized. The doors are Jeld-Wen corinthian Windsor glazed 820 x 2040.20160306_111614.jpg
I have purchased the Centor F2 (bottom runners) system to hang the doors having performed all the required calculations.
My problem is that the panel hieght from the calculations is 1980. Therefore I require 60mm to be removed from the bottom rail of the door. I am loathed to buy new doors and I am now asking if I remove 60mm from door, will it greatly affect door structure?
