Window placement for to comply with habitable space requirement .
Hi all ,
Looking to repurpose some of the space in our townhouse , the garage downstairs in 11mx6.2 with an internal stairs to the first floor and finished celling hight of 2.5m
We are looking to create a room that can comply with the habitable space requirement set by bca .
As it stands there is only one wall for a window of 10% of the floor space can installed , as the other wall has existing services on it (H/W,MDB)
Have done a rough illustration on how I see a window could be installed .
Would the location comply ?
thanks in advance .
