Who else has been to Rad School
After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing with Cliff Rogers we discovered that quite a few have been through Rad School at some time.
Rad School is (was?) the RAAF institution in beautiful sunny Laverton that trained all the electronic techs.
Care to add your name to the list, I went through in 1967.
Next.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Iain, RSTT(RAAF School Technical Training) Wagga Wagga, 1965, only went to Laverton for air displays with F111's.Hence all the airmen's mess food.

Iain, one of my brothers went to Laverton in about 1978-9. He left the outfit only a few years ago after spending half his career in Butterworth.

Nah, but we used to go to the RAAF TAFE in Wagga to smash them in Rugby Union

None of that Queer Trade stuff for me...engine fitting at RAAFSTT '80-81(although someone who apparently looked like me did basic electronics in '83)
