Hello to everyone
Hi everyone,
ginbulag here from Western Sydney. I'm just starting to read about woodwork and wanting to try it as a weekend hobby. I hope to pick up tips and meet some people who are into wood working as well especially around my area.

Welcome to the club. I'm sure there are quite a few sawdust-makers in your area, and unless I am very much mistaken, some of them will soon chime in and point you in the right direction for meetups and whatever )

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "ginbulag".
There are a stack of members in Sydney and surrounds plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie
PS - Keep an eye out for a get together at Katoomba for the Sydney area forum members plus there's another in March near Camden....great way to met & make friends..

Welcome to the forum.
If you are wanting to joint a mens shed then take a look at this website, Shed Locator | Men's Sheds Australia | Support | Community | Health. It you are more interested in wood turning then either of these web sites
Sydney Woodturners Guild Inc.
Western Sydney Woodturners - About Us
As you have joined the forum and you have a project in mind I might suggest you start a work in progress thread. If you get stuck then just post a question.
