New building site. Can neighbour concrete to adjoining fenceline without drainage/ ap
Gday,
A friend of mine has a query. He is currently about to build a house. He has become aware that his neighbour intends to lay a concrete slab pathway beside the house slab that will go right to the boundary of his property...
1) Is council approval required prior to this taking place?
2) Obviously the slab will lean away from the neighbours house. With this in mind and keeping in mind that it will finish on the boundary is drainage a compulsory requirement?
My friends concern is the impact this will have on his land/ property primarily in terms of run off? Also friends block is cut about 200mm lower than neighbour.
Thanks,
Daniel.
