Default G'day to one and all.

Have been lurking around for sometime now, usually to learn how to do something or even make something better. The wealth of knowledge on here is truly amazing. I know a couple of members in the real world, mostly Artme, who guided me onto the site.

Have really only been into woodworking since mid 2015, joined a local club here in Hervey Bay. Learnt to do pens,(I can hear the sighs) and ran with it. Trying to get better with every new project.

Thanks for reading, see you online soon,
    Thing aka Shaun

Here's a couple of pens that are actually successful experiments with polymer clay. Will be doing lots more too.
I call them Firewood and Persian Python.

    G'day Shaun,

Welcome to the forums, you have a good friend in Artme and have done a great job on your pens. "BEWARE" it is very addictive ;-)

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Shaun".
There are a stack of members across the greater S.E. Queensland and surrounds plus the rest of the country.....
And well done to "Arthur" for helping you find a great forum...
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork......
    Cheers crowie
