    Default First Bandsaw Box

    Howdy All,

This is my first time making a bandsaw box, ended up using a Bowl blank of Camphor Laurel, free hand drew my own design, had to change it a bit from the original due to bandsaw restrictions, but have given it one coat of spray on varnish, and got Navy Blue flock to put inside it. These things are very addictive and fun to make!!

I wanted the round draw to be optional as I wanted to have a wave sort of shape to it.

Will be given to the wife as a present once complete

It's turned out rather well - are you going to put handles on the drawers?

Thanks Labr@!! I will be putting handles on, just trying to figure out what style/colour. Might use some offcuts from pens I make, just not sure what would look best...

    Hi brind0g,
Great job I am sure the box will be a very welcome present handles are always a conundrum do you make them the same or contrast to the box I guess it depends weather you want to make a feature of them or blend in to not be noticed.
    regards Rod.
