Apparently they're used to make fake Calamari.
Also John Elliott comes to mind.

I'm just glad they're boneless.
Not too fussed on whether or not they are inverted. Prolly looks the same from both angles.

it 'was' a coin flip for me this evening as to what i got for dinner. fish n chips (with some calamari) or bbq chicken pizza. no prizes for guessing what im getting now, and what im never getting again.

Thats it for me, I will be buying whole squid tubes and doing the cutting and crumbing myself from now on
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.
