Hello from Melbourne
Hello everyone,
I'm a novice woodworker who's been waiting to tackle some wood projects for a while... Finally settled down in Melbourne and got myself some tools and started working on small things like tablet/phone holder, lamp stand and also been working pretty hard on a wine barrel to transform it into a wine cabinet.
Looking forward to learning some new stuff and hopefully in time i'll get a chance to give some knowledge back to new comers.
Attached are some of my latest small pieces(tablet/phone holder and a lamp stand made of Bottle brush tree logs and they are still work in progress) and also the wine barrel project which will hopefully be finished over the weekend
Cheers everyone

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Paul".
There are a heap of members in & around Melbourne as well as across the rest of Victoria..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.
And for my money, I'd encourage you to add a few new threads with your phone stand, lamp stand & barrel masterpieces...
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, crowie
