Default A fishing tale for old salts.

"Rodgera" and "Fenderbelly" were out fishing but caught nothing all
day. Another fisherman walked by with a basket full so they asked
    where he caught them.
He replied, "If you just go down the stream until the water is no
longer salty, there are many hungry fish".
They thanked him and set off downstream. "Rodgera" said, "Fill the
bucket up with water and we will test it". "Fenderbelly tested the
water but it was still salty".
They went further downstream, tested the water again but it was
still salty. Another five stops further on and they got the same
result, the water was still salty.
After two hours of walking "Rodgera" said, "This is no good and the
water is still as salty as it was at the start".
"Fenderbelly" replied, "Yeah, I know, and I think we have problems
because the bucket is nearly empty!"
Life is short ... smile while you still have teeth.

That's mean, just because they put up some good jokes here, why are you picking on those two poor fellows. I think they're smarter than that.
Actually, I think I know who the two blokes were, they hired a boat from my brother and went out and got their bag limit within half an hour.
One chap said as they were coming in "we'll have to remember this spot", his mate replied "already fixed I put an X on the side of the boat".
"You stupid idjut, what happens if we don't get the same boat" "crap, didn't think of that" was the reply.

I thought the salt content diminished as you went UP stream. But that would just be my dumb country boy logic
