Hello ! I'm Philippe from France
Hi !
I am living in the SouthWest part of France.
I am a rookie wood wooker and interested in many other crafts too.
I have discovered this board searching for information about wood working and Japan.
As stated in my very first post, I will be in Kobe for the wood working event in May.
Should you want some information about wood working in France... I may help
I like to travel and to welcome people tooIf you plan to come to France, drop me a line

GDay Philippe, BobL is right, photos and projects!
We are all keen to find and see how things are done elsewhere - especially the local artistic scene.
Perhaps you can help us by pointing out local artists, events and businesses?
As an aside, I just purchase 5 Liogier files from there, they are absolutely wonderful. I was almost overcome with emotion when I used them.... They are beautiful and incredibly smooth.

G'Day & Welcome "to the Great South Land" & to a top forum "Philippe".
There are quite a few members from UE on the forum as well as across the rest of the world..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

Thank you all
Thank you all for the warm welcome
I am just thinking I can wave at you people over there by waving looking down to my feet
Look downward !! I am over there
I don't have much pictures... yet
But a few month ago, I started to make a few videos on the place I plan to rehabilitate !
Videos are not very good... still learning though and I have to sort out my rushes to make a new episode.
