need some sort of reed switch for a sliding door
I have 2 sliding doors glass door in aluminium frames that we closed and locked have about 20mm of play in them meaning you can slide them locked together about 20mm from side to side.
I need a way to put a reed switch on these doors, preferably inside the tracks so they cant be seen, but because the doors have this 20mm play the reed switches are unreliable as the sideways movement means they don't line up 100% all the time and sometimes don't trigger the switches.
anyone think of a way to make covert reed switches or some other microswitch work in a sliding door setup with this play in the doors that cant be taken out easily.
