Pretty Paulownia
Scored 3 old Paulownias the other day that were growing too close to a local Homestead...and started milling straight away...absolutely beautiful stuff...displays many colours and has nice fiddleback too....the boards pictured are quarter sawn...MM

Well THAT should be a bit better on the old back - better than lugging all that hardwood around!

Here's a cross cut slab i milled a few days ago...this timber seasons at a remarkable rate with very little degrade...MM
