Not much more to add apart from it has the 10 hp motor and can do 510mm cut.

Will make my own frame for it to sit on, so that I don't have to worry about leveling the bed each time I move it and also a system where I can put a removable axle on one end with the bobcat on the other end to maneuver into tight spots that the crane truck cannot work in.

Craned the mill of the truck this arvo and leveled it and then preceded to cut some of the pear tree that I recovered from my parent's new house that they had cut down a few weeks ago due to a bit of rot and that it was starting to split in the fork.

This is where the bandsaw mill excels as it is only a small trunk, less than a foot in diameter and also a very good recovery due to small kerf.

Still have the Lucas at this stage, a mate says he'll buy it, but he has been saying that for the last two years so it may appear in the market place soon.

Slab up what I was told to be some sort of ornamental cypress from via the owner of the block and from the tree Lopper, in other words they didn't really know.

Any way log on the bed ready to go.

    First slab

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk HD1364612974.584499.jpg

    And second slab

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk HD1364613005.852918.jpg

And from the middle of the log

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk HD1364613051.149876.jpg

Me thinks I've hit the gold mine with this one, looks and smells like Aromatic Red Cedar to me. Still one more to slab too, slightly smaller dia than this one
