Finaly got out into the shed and have done a little bit more, the pictures speak for themselves, except I have only tacked the parts togeather with hot glue, so I have an idea how it is looking and can alter things if it 's not looking right,

No Greg, the body parts you see are seperate bits-__ side panels-- dash board__-and rear section,is cut and shapedto fit and as I said
it is just tacked with hot glue, so I can pull it to pieces if it is not looking right, ( Ive had five goes at the bonnet and grill, I had made it to wide,

) on the right track now though

Have done a little more on the PACKARD, the bonnets made,the hinges are not as small as I would have liked,& the hinged peices are not as fine but had to have them thick enough to insert the hinges so they could be glued in place, but they work(as in pics) The wheels are all but finished(one tyre still to make) front axle and steering works ok.I have decided not to have opening doors(tried to, but made a mess of it, to big of a gap and no matter how I tried to swing them it just didn't look right) CD

Awesome! Love how you made the bonnets functional. What kind of hinge did you use? It looks like a really small piano type hinge.

Yes Brett, piano hinge type, the bonnet is still quite rough inside. when I've done that I'll post a couple more pictures' you & Crowie may be waiting around a while for the finished item Digger, it is a very slow WIP. we are getting stupid weather here lately, stinking hot then bloody cold, plays hell with my lungs, so i don't get into the shed as much as I'd like. CD

lots& lots of trouble up loading photos, Google just would not do it! so I changed over to FIREFOX and it worked and quickly They are not in order, the first is the rear end of the body,and you can work out where the other bits go, I lay them flat to paint to avoid runs, looking at the pics you would think that It didn't work, But what looks like runs are in fact reflections,SO that is a little bit more done, I am now working on the dash board, wip pics to come next time

She's looking really good, CD. I love the colours too.
Looking forward to seeing the dashboard when done. I put a bit of effort into my Roadster's dash, gear lever etc, but with the roof on it was barely visible.

Same question as Greg - firetruck?
