Any way to edit/delete the ancient history?

You can unlike a post by going back to the post and clicking unlike.

Thank you. What do you mean by "going back to the post?"
I see no evidence anywhere of an "unlikes" control. I clicked on 20 different things. Other than doing a Google search, I can't get there from here.
I am such a sophisticated computer user, I need it spelled out in the simplest of terms. I have a long Likes List. I cannot edit.

Question is why do you need to edit your likes list?

In the Likes Given list via your profile, if you click on any of the posts in that list, it will take you back to the post in the thread where you originally clicked the Like link, instead of it being Like it will now be Unlike which will remove your Like notification from your list and from the person's post that you liked, hence my question, why?

Thanks DJ. Just some perverted sense of housekeeping. You're right, though, I have no reasonable answer for "why?"
