    Default Excellent documentary

I saw this on SBS the other night and it's given me a new group of heroes. Highly recommended.

    Damn fine docco.
I saw just the tale end a little while ago.
A lot of them had no radio and only rudimentary navigation assistance. Really well worth seeing
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

It reminded me of the "Night Witches." They were Russian women who flew Polikarpov Po-2 planes, which I think can be euphemistically be described as agricultural tending to primitive. They in fact flew on active missions often flying several sorties in a single night.
