Timeouts
I seem to be getting a lot of timeouts when trying to connect to this site or upload a new message or reply. Is this happening to others? It's only been recently with me, maybe too much traffic for the server to handle? :confused:
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Behave or you'll all get sent to time out.
Probably just heavy traffic, we're averaging around 5,500,000 hits a month at the moment and without ADSL it could be a bit slow going from time to time.

A friend was telling me that there have been troubles with the Testra DNS servers for some time, and most ISP's use the Telstra DNS servers for reference, so whe Telstra goes wobbly everyone shakes.
He's waiting for it all to go pearshaped.

Have had heaps of trouble getting on this site for last hour.Went and googled it and notice said the WW Forum was closed.Do i need therapy or more water in the scotch?

Had trouble getting to the site most of today, all good now tho, except I had to actually do some work today rather than roam around the board..

Same here. Couldn't get in this morning at all. had to go to work without my 'fix'. Had the 'shakes' ever since but better now..........

i have also been trying since 6 am just manages to get on ,:eek: 17 hours with out my fix
