Wadkin Bursgreen AGS10 insert
Just had an "interesting" afternoon with my old : Wadkin Bursgreen AGS10 I was trying out cutting mitres for the first time. The aluminium insert was rattling away as it made contact with the blade. Looking at it it is looking pretty ragged (the saw is forty odd years old). Does anyone know if replacement inserts are available or easily made. Looks like a Unisaw so wondering if anyone has tried a unisaw insert?
Thanks.
Chris

If you have the old insert you can make an exact copy of the shape with a router and a template following bit.

Also ... I'm sure Jack Forsberg and Melbourne Matty can tell you all about a Wadkin Bursgreen at the ANTIQUE AND COLLECTABLE TOOLS AND MACHINES section of the forum.
