    Default Squeaky floating floor

Help! We've put in a new floating floor and every step we take is very squeaky. What can I do? It's T & G on an existing particle board. I've got foam between & I've followed the instructions re the glueing. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Did you cleanup the subfloor before putting in underlay?
Did you put underlay properly, ie no gaps?
Is there any chance that you tracked some dirt onto underlay itself?
    Did you glue joints properly?
How about overall quality of the floor?
Can you tell if it is side or butt joints?

There are so many things that could go wrong.
I do not think you can do much once you have got this problem. I would pull apart a small area, inspect and reglue and see if it helps.

Did you check the level of the existing sub floor, most floating floors require +/- 3mm over 3mt, it may be flexing if the level is not great.

What brand of flooring is it.

it sounds like the problem is with the original floor. either not absolutely flat or boards no secured properly to the joists. These new floors can be a ***** sometimes but if the base is true they give no problems.
