I have built a table from old Houn Pine. The timber has aged and is grey to a dept of 2 mm. I have sanded it back but the discolouring is too deep to sand back to the non discoloured wood. Some of the timber where is is cut has the great colour and texture of Houn Pine. Has any one got ant ideas on the best method and product to use to treat the surface so that the old timber is not too dark?
Any advice or comments appreciated.
