Termite damage in rental
Im about to end my lease for my Business Office
and are having trouble with the landlords
see post bellow
http://www.renovateforum.com/f85/nee...ination-94458/
but i thought it might just be easer to remove the walls and get on with my life
but because of the termite damage my builder will not get up into the ceiling
cavity because were the man hole is all the timber has been destroyed by termites and now has told me i need a structural damage report because it my be deemed unsafe to have clients coming in !
my lease is up on 31-12-2010 so a bit over a month away
Do i need to pay for this report to be done ?
legally should i have clients coming into my office if i know it my be unsafe?
can i terminate my lease early or should i ?
