a swaggie was between toowoomba and straut,

he had ran out of food teh day before and was getting mighty hungry after walking all day.

he came to the condamine river and thought he might try his hand at fishin.

he fashioned a hook and line from an old barb wire fence and a horse tail hair.

all he needed now is bait, hed heard fishermen mention frogs made good bait, so he began looking for a frog,

he soon found one at the bace of a hollo log,

he thought that will do nicely but a blacksnake coming the other way had the same idea,

he grabed the snake by the neck, pulled out a bottle of "very potent grog" and in disgust pored it down teh snakes neck,

teh snake spat out the frog and vanished into the scrub.

teh swaggie was sitting on a log with his fishing gear waiting for a bite.

suddenly there was a tap on his shoulder and he turned around to see the snake with another frog in its mouth.
