Window winder
Hi guys,
I'm wondering if someone can help me. I'm trying to fix my windows as most of them don't open. The windows have an old winding mechanism on them. I have pulled 3 of them apart and find that the teeth of the mechanism have been rounded off and therefore cannot be winded. I brought a new winding mechanism from Bunnings but it can only be used when the window that I need it for is at the bottom. I figure the only way to fix this without spending loads of money is to find someone to make the part. Its made of metal.
Is there any other way of fixing this?
What kind of business would be able to make these?
How much would it roughly cost to get 6 of these made?
Thanks is advance
Mel.
