Servere Structural Termite Damage - Can we save it?
Hi Renovators!!!
My partner and I are first home buyers looking to get into the market and do a buy/renovate/sell project. We have been looking around and have found a great property with a 3 bedroom brick veneer house on it - only problem is the pest inspection returned the result: "servere structural damage in the floor supports and roof cavity"... (thus I would assume the walls also.
The land alone for the price is pretty good, however we cannot afford to put a new house on it with our budget.
I am wondering if anyone has had any experience replacing the internal supporting structures of an existing house and what kind of budget it might take?
Working on the assumption that floor supports, walls and roof frames all need replacing.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks!!
