adjoining walls
Hi
was wondering if anybody knows what the ruling is on adjoining walls.
The situation is that (Terrace House) I have an adjoining wall to the neighbor on the ground level which is double brick..
Now I wish to build another room above this existing area and am wondering if the adjoining wall that obviously needs to be continued upwards must be in double brick or can other materials be used I understand it needs to be fire retardant etc, etc.
Can anyone shed any knowledge on this,
