Damp Shed Frame - Urgent Help Please!
Hello,
I'm a long time reader of the forum but finally need to ask a question.
I bought a weatherboard shed/garage a while ago and it's been sitting in a pile in the back yard waiting for the concrete slab to be poured...
Well it's been two weeks since the slab was poured so I started moving some of the garage frame work over and noticed the bottom piece of the frame which was resting on the ground is damp. It's been sitting out in the weather for at least 3 months so this is probably understandable.
My knowledge of building/wood is limited, but the frame is treated pine and appears to be ok ie dragging your fingernail along it doesn't remove anything of significance. Should the frame be ok, or am I best to replace the lower part of the frame?
Cheers
