Sills need help
Hi people, we have a kitchen, dining room with brick walls, the walls are waist height, and have sills? or whatever they are called placed ontop, laminate onto chipboard, the top is quite long and forms a T shape in the centre, separating the Kitchen from the dining room, the tops have gotten wet from rain when windows were left open, and need replacing, want to change it with either Pine or Jarrah, look nicer and last longer, the cheap board is blown and looks horrible, sorry for not knowing the correct term, hopefully someone will understand, Also need to know how the old tops come off the bricks? and the correct way of installing the new ones.
Any help will be appreciated.
