Silky Oak - colour bleaching
I have some silky oak (cardwellia from up north) boards ( almost 1/4 cut) that I want to use for a table top. However, many are dull grey/brown colour and some are honey coloured. How can I lighten the darker boards ?

Lighten colour
Light sanding, fine steel wool, try on a scrap piece first
