    Question Organoil is that it?

I have recently used this oil and find it great! I'm making a DVD cabinet and basically a beginner; although I have all the tools

Is it worth applying a wax after this? It looks good as is, and I'm thinking about longevity!

Yes a good wax finish and a buff just tops it off.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Check out the Ubeaut site and get some Traditional Wax. If it's not available locally, they are very good with mail orders. While you are at it, get some EEE Polish, Tripoli Powder and maybe some Hard Shellac. All the instructions come with the product but also check out Neil's Polisher's Handbook. It's the finishing bible.

I favour leaving it as is. As noted on the grain filling thread, adding a wax finish over the top makes it prone to water spots or rings.
    Cheers, Ern
