I have a "Who Can - Totalspan" carport that is 99% complete. From the factory it has a colourbond gable infill that I want to ditch and replace with a timber gable infill to match the house.

So it currently looks like this;

I was thinking a backboard with some 2x1's attached to it.

Any suggestions on materials?
