Changing/editing thread titles?
How can I change/add to the title to a thread?
I have placed my Lucas mill for sale in the marketplace and am wanting to reflect a $2,000 drop in my asking price, but don't want to put it as a new post because I feel the 360 views I've had won't read through the posts again unless it's obvious that I have reduced the price...
Any help would be great.I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

Only way it'll get done, is to nicely ask a MOD or ADMIN , as your 24hr edit option has expired.

Dave, I only just realised how, with a different emphasis, my previous post could be taken to mean ask a mod who is nice, when I meant if I can ask a mod in a nice enough way, to help me - good onya

Allan send Dj a PM to let him know what you want it changed to - that usually works - if not mention you have slabs of Queensland timbers you can send -also slabs of VB - if none of that works send them to me and forget it.
added - Allan you could just report the post (in the actual thread) and that way any of the mods might change it for you - you need to let them know what you want it changed to.
Cheers

I did start to 'report' it, but then got all worried as it said to be only used to report bad behavior, spank-worthy conduct and otherwise behind closed doors kind of stuff....() so then I got chickened out, too worried about gettin in trouble for using it to ask for an edit
Mind you our economy could run a lot lot better if it was slab based rather than $'s based don't ya think?I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

Well if you and Carl (wingeing about too wet to work and no work) were to load his ute with Slabs, turning blanks and other suitable stuff (good Queensland timbers) and drive to Vic i am sure we could arrange accomadation, meals etc at various locations to give you a "slab based" vacation.
cheers
PS come to Ballarat first (that way i get first choice/dibs at the loot)regards

To get any changes done in the Market Place, report the post by clicking on the and the first mod or admin to see it will do the changes for you as soon as they get an opportunity. Unless of course your name's Clam them you have about the same chance as a snowflake in hell of getting help from anyone including Wendy. She hates suck-ups.
