Im looking for some help with possible options for the removal of an internal load bearing wall (solid brick) between kitchen and dining rooms.

Presently the wall supports a single roof strut and one end of the kitchen ceiling joists, the dining room ceiling joists run at 90 degrees.
Supporting the strut is no problem (strutting beam) however I would like to know what options there are to support the free ends of the ceiling joists.

Is it possible to add a hanging beam that is butt jointed to the joists via joist hangers, allowing a continuous ceiling between rooms?

Sorry, span is 3050mm, sheet iron roof, all internal walls are solid brick and external walls double brick. The proposed hanging beam would be between an internal and external wall.
