Minorities
Minorities
We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat.
* They risk their lives crossing the ocean.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day.
I'm not talking about illegal boat people ~
I'm talking about our troops!
Doesn't it seem strange that many Labor and Liberals and Independents are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops, and are even threatening
to defund them?

and we tell them to take out their own insurance as the government wont look after their families properly, if they get killed or injured.

Couldn't agree more we do not do enough for our troops by a long shot.

Remember the treatment out vietnam vets got by being snubbed.
Lets not repeat the exercise with our military forces o'seas and go into bat for them as we do with all our sports or o'seas ambassadors.
CheersJohnno
Everyone has a photographic memory, some just don't have film.

Yes thanks to all those bloody pinko lefties like Jim Cairns and some of his party mates.
As for Bob vloody Hawke!!.Wanted a strike on the wharves so supplies didn't reach Vietnam and the had the gall to take the salute in Sydney.A most shameful episode in our history.

There were a few effective strikes. They'd been selling us VB beer and that stopped, and the Postal Union stopped our mail. (caring bastards).
That gave rise to our "Punch a Postie on RTA" campaign.
Great way to look after your troops.........remove their favourite beer and don't send their mail.
